From the beginner to the more experienced, our campers
learn to ride and care for horses at all levels
of accomplishment. Each session includes
instruction, lectures on horsemanship theory and

PONIES & FRIENDS CAMP - $325
1 WEEK SESSION (non-refundable)
Monday thru Friday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Ages 4-7
For the more the mature rider, beginner through advanced, these week-long evening camps focus on advanced control under saddle and more sophisticated riding skills and equestrian fundamentals. This smaller camp allows riders the opportunity to work with an advanced hunter-jumper instructor in lessons that are challenging and fun (often set to music).

WESTERN CAMP - $400
1 WEEK SESSION (non-refundable)
Monday thru Friday 5:30pm - 8:30pm
Ages 13 and up
For the rodeo star in everyone, these evening western camps give riders the opportunity to channel their inner cowboy or cowgirl! Students will study riding technique and theory through mounted instruction in the only western program in Washington D. C. To enroll, please choose the camp which best fits your riding level.
June 21 - 25 (Intermediate Advanced Teen with instructor approval)
This is an intermediate/advanced western camp, in which students will study various speed classes including Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. The emphasis during this camp is on riding technique and skill development, not necessarily on the quickness of gaits involved. Students who are interested must contact the barn office and be approved by the instructor prior to admission to the camp.
July 19 - 23 (Beginner Intermediate Adult)
This camp will feature instruction that outlines principles of Western Equitation and showing. Students will study riding theory and technique, show grooming and prep, and will perform a series of western pattern demonstrations later in the week.

WEEKEND DRESSAGE MINI CAMP - $150
1 WEEKEND SESSION $150 (non-refundable)
Saturday and Sunday 9:00am - 12noon
Ages 13 and up
For adults and teens who want to explore basic concepts of dressage-focusing on rider position, control and aids through bending, yielding, transitions and more. Riding experience necessary (must be able to control a horse at a walk, trot, and canter).
